Police are searching for a man in his 50s who is alleged to have indecently assaulted four women in the western Sydney region around Rydalmere.
Police say that around 10.30am on Sunday a man assaulted a 17-year-old girl as she was walking on Primose Avenue.
The girl told police the man attempted to speak with her before grabbing and indecently assaulting her.
A short time later a 74-year-old woman told police that the same man indecently assaulted her while on Primrose Avenue.
Around 8am on Thursday police say a man approached a 16-year-old girl who was also walking on Primrose Avenue.
Police have been told the man greeted the girl before grabbing and indecently assaulting her.
Also on Thursday a 56-year-old woman says that a man approached her while she was in a park on Spofforth Street, Ermington.
She told police that she spoke briefly with the man, before attempting to grab and indecently assault her. The woman said she broke free from his grasp and he walked away.
Inspector Glen Parks from Granville Police Station said police were appealing to locals for help in finding the man.
“The person could live in the area and we are seeking people who live in the area to contact us,” he said.
The man has been described to police as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his 50s or 60s, with a skinny build and black beard.
In one incident he was described as wearing a turban. In another he was described as wearing a cream-coloured cap and cream-coloured, loose-fitting shirt and pants.
On Sunday the man was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and light brown pants.
