A crash between a car, truck and school bus in Camden on Thursday afternoon is being investigated by police.
At about 3.30pm, NSW police said they responded to a report of a crash between a BMW sedan, truck and school bus on Argyle Street (near the Cowpasture Bridge) in Camden, south-west of Sydney.
A man who was in the car was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
James Farley, a passenger on the school bus, said the driver of the car had to be cut out by ambulance staff.
Some children on the bus, who were of primary school age, suffered superficial injuries. The driver's of both the bus and truck were uninjured, but were taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
