A man and woman have been charged after police say they found a pump-action shotgun in the bedroom of a Glebe house and a loaded pistol hidden in the yard.

Police said they saw the man run from a group of people who were acting suspiciously on Mount Vernon Street shortly after 3.15am Saturday.
He reportedly hid a bag in the yard of a house in Lodge Street before officers found him nearby with the woman.
They seized a bag in the yard which allegedly had a loaded pistol inside.
Detectives said they also found a pump-action shotgun in the bedroom of the house during a search.
The man, 34, was charged with possessing a prohibited firearm, possessing a loaded firearm in a public place and possessing ammunition.
The woman, 27, was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon.
They were both refused bail and are to face Parramatta Bail Court via audio-visual link on Sunday.
