Students sent wrong results
Incorrect Higher School Certificate results have been mistakenly sent to 160 year 12 students in NSW just days before final marks are due out. The Board of Studies said a wrong date set in a computer caused text messages containing unfinalised results to be sent to students who had registered to get their results by SMS. A board spokeswoman said the error was quickly fixed and every affected student was sent an email telling them to ignore the unfinalised results and wait for the release of the final results on Wednesday. ''Obviously we apologise for it but we did get onto it straight away,'' the spokeswoman said.
