The body of missing North Bondi woman located near Katoomba lookout

The body of a missing North Bondi woman has been located at Katoomba, according to a police report.

The 36-year-old was last seen on Thursday, 26 June, at about 8am, and was reported missing by family members the next day.

Her last known movements were on Katoomba Street at Katoomba at 11.30am on June 26, according to police.

Officers from Blue Mountains Local Area Command began a search for the woman, but did not locate her.

On Tuesday morning, police were called to a cliff base below Tallawalla Lookout, just east of the Three Sisters, after a body was found there.

Police are yet to formally identify the body, but it is believed to be the missing woman’s.

Investigations continue and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
