Cycling - mountain bike

At the age of just 20, this will be mountain-biker Rebecca Henderson’s first Olympic Games.

Henderson picked up first place in the under-23s Australian Championship and again in the Oceania Championship last year, and comes into the Games from strong showings at World Cup events in France, where she came 2nd, and Canada, where she picked up a 3rd place.

According to the AOC website, Henderson, who began cycling at the age of 10, has been dreaming of making it to the Olympics since she was a child.
