2. Anne Summers: It is Summers’ past and present research and writing on misogyny that helped create the fertile conditions for Julia Gillard's speech. Her report ''Her Rights at Work: The Political Persecution of Australia's First Female Prime Minister'' was widely reproduced, debated and quoted in publications across the country.
