Sailing gold for Slingsby

7 AugAustralia is on course to dominate Weymouth Harbour. Tom Slingsby, 27, a four-time world champion, bagged our first medal in the sailing and our second gold of the Olympics, making amends for his disappointment at finishing 22nd in the Laser class at the Beijing Olympics. As Slingsby was receiving his gold, Australians Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen led the 49er class and are guaranteed gold as long as they cross the start line.
