Konrad Hurrell (New Zealand Warriors). Age: 20. Position: Centre/wing. NRL games: 0. Signed until: End of 2012. BACKGROUND: Moved to New Zealand from Tonga in 2009. Has only been playing rugby league for a year but made his presence felt in the Toyota Cup last year, scoring 22 tries in 21 games. About to extend his contract with the Warriors. STRENGTHS: A 100-kilogram wrecking ball. A Manu Vatuvei clone. Where he fits: He could start the year ahead of Bill Tupou on the wing, or possibly even shift Lewis Brown from the centres to the back row. He bullied opposition last year but it will be a whole new challenge against bigger, stronger and smarter players in first grade.
