Dateline: Tay Ninh, Vietnam. The Cao Dai Holy See is about 90 kilometres north-west of Ho Chi Minh City. Tourists are welcome to enter the temple and take photographs. The Cao Dai religion has more than 2 million followers and combines the philosophies of major world faiths. The temple is a striking and unusual structure, blending the styles of a Western cathedral, Chinese pagoda and, seemingly, the colours of a Disney cartoon. Photo: Ken Sedgmen

![Dateline: Ermera District, Timor Leste. While staying in the town of Gleno [about 30 kilometres south-west of the capital, Dili], I enjoyed taking photographs of excitable and cheeky children who played soccer with bottles and got up to mischief on the streets. This pair were just happy to stay watching the fun and games.](http://images.canberratimes.com.au/2011/11/18/2782320/port-Snapped-191111-80x80.jpg)
