  • Katy has no mandate to increase the numbers of MLA's however, she didn't have a mandate to alter the percentage of rates each suburb of Canberra pay and she still did it.

It's about time she listened to the voters of Canberra and not the Left Wing faction of the Labor Party, because she is not winning any any of the voters with her actions since the Election. It may require the Green that put her in to remind her that she is leading the first minority government in the ACT.

  • How ridiculous, Canberra can't afford this government now, let alone an expanded government.
I did notice that when Stanhope jumped ship, Katie and her team managed to operate for a long time while missing one member.

Fair go for Canberra and reduce number of politicians and their staff. We don't want more increases in our Taxes to pay for this over kill of Self Government.

  • Your poll only goes as low as 17! Seventeen represetatives for a place that small. The waste is incredible.
No wonder public servants have to be paid so much. Its so they can pay their rates so 17 (or more) can have pretentions of granduer in running a very small city.

  • The more MLAs they have the better chance smaller groups would be present and as a result the better they would be represented.
