  • I am staggered that Hodges could have the arrogance to think he could waltz into the Test Team on the strength of half a dozen Shield matches.
Not to mention his lack of respect for what being in the Test team actually means.

  • ABC deserves a blast for not broadcasting the Indian test matches. At least it should be live on ABC Granstand.

    • ABC like many other news and photo agencies are NOT ALLOWED to cover the tests.
      I think we should boycott.
The game is bigger than any one country, and the reedy, petty nationalist short-sightedness being peddled by the BCCI in causing a virtual blackout of the test coverage, should not be let slide.
They keep saying they are generating all the money for cricket, lets see how much they generate when nobody will play them?

    • BCCI asked too much for the broadcast rights and accreditation

  • Perth 1. The Board of Control for Cricket in India held the ABC over a barrel, charging an extortionate broadcast fee and refused accreditation for Neil Maxwell. Blame them, not Aunty.

  • A bit difficult to get involved in a series no one can get even a still picture of, The media blackout is absurd and frustrating for cricket fans. Does this happen with India playing in Australia? I don't think so. If it did there would be all sorts of complaints from the Indian media and probably riots in the streets!
