  • Shackle draggers, no class in win or loss. Thank god we got rid of this bunch centuries ago. Once Scotland leaves us next year, its upwards and onwards for England

    • One of histories greatest blunders was sending the starving bread stealers to paradise while the rest of the English remain prisoners of her majesty and mother England. The curse was placed on England at the point in time and has lead to the Aussies winning the 1st ever test, hence the Ashes, the centenary test and the most tests. What's more, the English urinate on people and their own wickets yet they have the nerve to comment on the class of Australians. How's the weather Kevin?
(P.S In my 3 years living in London I thought the best thing about England was that it had Scotland attached to it.)

    • Bet you can't the emulate the entrepreneurs of times gone by and get to Australia for the price of a loaf of bread. Lived and worked in England for many years couldn't get over how many pommies hate the place and want to emigrate to Australia.

  • Barring overconfidence, loss of form or unexpected injuries, this Australian Team can win this Ashes Series 1-0 or perhaps 2-1

  • Kev, that comment can't go unanswered.
You stiff upper lip Cambridge rowing tossers will get your comeuppance. You didn't ditch us, we ditched you - and not before time too. Now we just get a thrill out of belting you in the cricket. Although it hasn't been much fun lately.

Anyway old boy. lets just hope Adelaide is as rousing a stoush as Brisbane was.
    Toodlepips !!

PS - have to agree with you about Scotland though, and why you hung on too Northern Ireland for so long I'll never know.
