A 45-year-old brothel madam has been charged over the 2013 murder of rugby league referee Tony McGrath.
Homicide detectives charged Susan Stewart with the 57-year-old's death late on Monday night, after she was extradited to Queensland from New South Wales.
Ms Stewart is scheduled to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday, and faces charges of murder, attempted murder, stupefying in order to commit an indictable offence and entering a premises with intent.
A 38-year-old homeless man, Tyson John Taylor, appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 6 on murder charges relating to Mr McGrath's death on May 21, 2013. He is due to return to court on March 17.
Mr McGrath, 57, died after being shot in the head and was found in the garage of his Woolloongabba home.
Mr McGrath, who was known as "Bunter" to his friends and associates, dedicated much of his life to the Brisbane Rugby League Referees Association, where he served as secretary and treasurer.
