A pedestrian has died after being hit by a truck in the city's inner north.
Police are currently at the scene where a truck hit a pedestrian about 10.45am in Bowen Hills.
The accident happened at the intersection of Breakfast Creek Road and Edmondstone Road and the pedestrian died at the scene.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area as traffic diversions are in place on Breakfast Creek Road and delays are expected.
