Police investigating suspicious death on Sunshine Coast

Police are investigating the death of a man at Buddina on the Sunshine Coast.

Police were called to the Boorook Street unit on Sunday afternoon and discovered a deceased man at the address.

Further investigations concluded the 33-year-old Mount Coolum man may have died under suspicious circumstances.

A post-mortem was performed on the man's body on Monday and police have launched an operation to investigate the circumstances around the death.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have heard or seen anything around the unit complex on January 24 to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
