Thieves have left a trail of destruction across Logan, south of Brisbane, after ram-raids at four businesses.

The thieves forced their way into two convenience stores, a newsagency and supermarket with a silver four-wheel-drive in the early hours of Thursday morning, but stole nothing more than energy drinks, cigarettes and Instant Scratch-Its tickets.

The first raid occurred about 12.20am, when the thieves smashed their way into a Best Buy convenience store on River Hills Road at Eagleby and stole energy drink cans.

Forty minutes later, they drove the 4WD through the doors of the Friendly Grocer convenience store on Watland Street, Springwood, but took nothing.

At 3.15am, the bandits drove the vehicle into the Boulevard Newsagency on Mt Warren Park Boulevard, Mt Warren Park, but again stole nothing.

The thieves then targeted an IGA Supermarket, also on Mt Warren Park Boulevard, about 4.50am, where they helped themselves to cigarettes and Instant Scratch-Its.

Police were reviewing CCTV footage in a bid to identify the offenders on Thursday.
