A two-year-old girl has died after being hit by a car, driven by her father, in a driveway on Brisbane's northside.

Emergency services were called to the residence on Garnet Street in Clayfield about 5.30pm on Friday to what a police service spokeswoman described as "a horrible accident".
The toddler was rushed to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital by paramedics but she later died.
The Forensic Crash Unit was investigating.
