The Bruce Highway has reopened more than four hours after a semi-trailer smashed into an overpass and was then hit by another truck.
The south bound lanes were closed after one truck crashed into the Anzac Avenue overpass at North Lakes, north of Brisbane, about 9.20am on Tuesday.
A second B-double truck following close behind then crashed into the first truck.

The trailer of the first truck was dislodged, tipped on its end and became wedged under the bridge.
A 47-year-old driver was taken to Redcliffe Hospital with back pain.
The crash prompted traffic chaos in the area.

South bound vehicles ground to a standstill, while northbound traffic slowed.
Anzac Avenue traffic was also impacted when the overpass was closed to undergo inspection by structural engineers.
