Two members of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle club have been charged over their alleged involvement in the notorious Gold Coast riots nearly five months ago.

Taskforce Maxima detectives claim the men were involved in the September 27 brawl at Broadbeach between members of the Bandidos and the 66 Street Crew, a group aligned with the Finks.

A 28-year-old Raceview man and a 36-year-old Leichardt man will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday charged with rioting.

Officers from Taskforce Maxima have charged two participants of the Bandidos* Motorcycle Gang with rioting, said Detective Inspector Brendan Smith.

"We are here for the long haul, we will be relentless in our follow-up and will take enforcement action whenever we identify evidence of offences," he said.

*An earlier version of this story identified the charged men as members of the Finks motorcycle club. This was due to incorrect information supplied by police.
