How to use Canberra Times RSS feeds
RSS - which stands for Really Simple Syndication - is an easy way to view updates of the top headlines from Canberra Times. RSS feeds, or channels, are available for most sections of smh.com.au and can be read in a program called a news reader or aggregator. A quick search of the web will find many free or inexpensive news readers. Try searching for "RSS newsreader".
You can use these links to view headlines from SMH sections:
(Internet Explorer will not display raw RSS XML files. To view the XML when using IE, right click the orange button and save the RSS file to your computer. You can then open it in a text editor or other program.)
These channels are for personal use and only in news reader applications. You may not publish headlines from these channels to a web page.
