Raiders teammates Sia Soliola and Junior Paulo were both left out of the Samoan squad for the Pacific Test against England at Campbelltown Stadium on May 6.

It leaves Leilua as the lone Raider to play against Canberra's English duo Josh Hodgson and Elliott Whitehead - Leilua's inside man at club level.

The international selection rules Leilua out of contention for City Origin, meaning he will don Samoan blue in his bid to earn a sky blue State of Origin jersey.

Leilua was New South Wales' 18th man in 2012 and has worked tirelessly to regain the form of years gone by, flourishing under Raiders coach Ricky Stuart.

The Raiders right centre will come up against former teammate and new Bulldogs recruit Brenko Lee at ANZ Stadium on Saturday, who has been named in Tonga's side to play Fiji.
