Raiders coach David Furner named Berrigan in the centres for the opening match of the season at Canberra Stadium on Saturday night.
Furner has also put his faith in hooker Travis Waddell.
Waddell played only five matches last season and appeared to be on the outer with Glen Buttriss and Alan Tongue as Furner's first-choice rakes.
But the 22-year-old will get his chance at redemption against the Storm.
