One half is Sandor Earl - the tattooed poster boy who joined the Raiders as a mid-season signing.
The other is Blake Ferguson - the brash centre who oozes talent and confidence.
Together they've formed a partnership which has helped the Raiders rise into premiership contention and is ready for its next challenge against the South Sydney Rabbitohs tomorrow night.
Just two months after meeting for the first time, the pair is inseparable.
They eat together, sleep in the same room when in camp and form the Raiders' centre-wing combination on the right side of the field.
When they're not training, they're at a cafe together or at the mall.
And it's a routine the superstitious duo is keeping as the Raiders continue their amazing resurgence in the finals.
"Me and Blake ... I don't know how to explain it," Earl said.
"We're similar but we're different. I like to get straight to the point and he's a knock-about bloke so we complement each other.
"We're both quite superstitious and now it's turned into a ritual and we've got these quirky little things, who knows how out of control it's going to get. But it's been great and if it's working, why change it?"
It wasn't that long ago that the Raiders' season appeared destined for the scrap heap.
But the arrival of Dorguson coincided with the amazing turnaround which has put the Raiders into the semi final against South Sydney.
A win will book them a place in the preliminary final for the first time in 15 years and Dorguson could be the lucky charm.
Their bromance really started to take off when the team arrived at hotels.
Earl and Ferguson have to be in the same room when they travel.
Before the final against the Cronulla Sharks last weekend, the hotel got the booking wrong and had them in separate rooms.
"So we had to change it and Blake had to sleep in a single bed while I got the Queen bed," Earl said.
When they get to the room, Earl has to sleep in the bed the furthest away from the door.
If the Raiders win, they eat the same food before the next game and when they're not at training or preparing to play, they're on a date.
They've become so close even their teammates are getting worried.
"They started out flirting when [Earl] first came here and they started getting a bit romantic," Joel Thompson said.
"They do dates, cook each other dinner and it's a bit suss to be honest with you. I don't know what's going on.
"They're pretty close, but they've been unbelievable for us."
The duo combined for four tries in the Raiders' win over the Cronulla Sharks last weekend.
They've been partners on the Raiders' right side since Earl left the Penrith Panthers to move to Canberra in July.
He has an 81 per cent winning record since joining the Raiders and his relationship with Ferguson is blossoming.
As for the super-couple name - it was Earl who came up with Dorguson and when Ferguson jumped on board, it became their trademark.
Their teammates always get stuck into them about their bromance.
But that doesn't faze the duo. Their motto is if it's working, don't change it.
"He [Ferguson] was the first one to come up to me when I got here, we got along from the start and we enjoy playing with each other and then enjoy hanging out off the field," Earl said.
"It's very rare that you find the kind of combination we've got and to be able to bounce off each other is amazing.
"It's easy to see how excited we get ... Blake and I are definitely confident and keen to take on anyone we have to match up on in the finals."
