This weekend, two blokes who definitely deserve a pint of Raiders lime green milk - or some kind of celebratory beverage - are Phil Small and Chris O'Brien.

They will be calling their 500th Canberra Raiders game since starting with the local radio station as a call team back in 1996.
That's a phenomenal achievement - 500 games over 21 years for the same station.
"It's gone pretty quickly actually. Twenty years has just gone like that," Chris said.
Phil, well-known to Canberrans after presenting sport on WIN Television for 20 years, now works for the Australian Federal Police. And he hasn't aged a bit.
"The gig keeps me young," he said.
Small's love of sport - and the Raiders - has never waned and calling the games has kept the passion alive.
No small wonder given his first assignment for WIN was covering the euphoric grand final celebrations at the Queanbeyan Leagues Club after the Raiders' remarkable win against the Balmain Tigers in 1989.
"It was a great introduction to the world of sport," he said.
O'Brien, who owns Hub Communications in Canberra, was also a race caller for 30 years. He grew up in Manly so followed the Sea Eagles but gradually moved his allegiances to the Raiders as he got to know the club.
"When they'd play Manly, I realised my heart was with Canberra, because I knew the people," he said.
Both said their most memorable game to call was the unforgettable Raiders game against the West Tigers in May, 2000 when it snowed, turning the grass white at Canberra Stadium. So much that they couldn't see the sidelines, which made calling the game a challenge.
"I'll always remember a try by Lesley Vainikolo, from memory off a Tigers mistake. He dived from about three metres out and slid through into the in-goal like a big snow plough," Small said.
There was also the time they set up at Adelaide Oval for a Super League game and realised - because it was a cricket ground - they'd actually arranged themselves so they were calling the game head-on, rather than side-on. Not the easiest thing to call.
And on another trip to New Zealand, their hire car was impounded. Luckily imposing Cronulla Sharks immortal Gavin Miller was there with them, as a sideline commentator, and managed to "convince" the security guard to release the car.
Small says it's sometimes hard to keep his emotions in check calling the games, especially some of the recent ones in which the Green Machine has been pipped at the post.
"For a Raiders tragic, that can be a little bit difficult," he said.
"But I've got no doubt they can put themselves in the top eight. They've got the talent."
Small paid tribute to his family - wife Judy and children Alex, 25; and Olivia, 21 - for helping him achieve the 500 calls.
He and O'Brien have already marked the milestone with a quiet dinner last week when they "had a couple of beers and told a few stories".
Here's to a good call on Saturday. The game will be against the Brisbane Broncos at the Canberra Stadium, starting at 5.30pm.
