GOLD COAST TITANS v NZ WARRIORS at Cbus Super Stadium, Saturday 5.30pm
Last meeting: Round 24 2013 - Warriors 24 bt Titans 22 at Skilled Stadium
Head-to-head: Warriors 8 Gold Coast 6
TV: Live, FoxSports 1
Ladbrokes: Titans $3.25 Warriors $1.35
Betfair: Titans $3.20 Warriors $1.37
Michael Chammas writes: The Titans have been decimated by injury, suspension and Origin duty. The Warriors are at full strength but how will they fare on the road? They've found their form in recent weeks and should be able to get the job done on the Gold Coast.
Tip: Warriors by 7
AAP writes: Stricken by Origin call-ups, injuries and suspension to Greg Bird, the Titans will host the Warriors with a makeshift squad. At least five first-team selections are missing for coach John Cartwright who at least has halfback Albert Kelly back after he missed last week's loss to Brisbane with a leg injury. William Zillman will captain the team in the absence of Bird and Queensland prop Nate Myles, for what will be fullback David Mead's 100th NRL appearance. The Warriors have brought Kevin Locke into the starting side on the wing while Siliva Havili comes into the bench in place of injured Sione Lousi. They are largely unchanged though from the team which nearly beat the table-topping Bulldogs last weekend.
Key: Can the Titans make up for their lack of bodies against an opponent largely untroubled by injury, suspension or Origin commitments? It's a huge ask for Cartwright's men.
