Former Canberra Raiders custodian Reece Robinson will be tasked with filling the massive shoes of Jarryd Hayne after signing a one-year deal with the Eels.

On the same day Hayne announced he was quitting the NRL to chase his dream of playing American football in the NFL, it was revealed Robinson had last week quietly put pen to paper with Parramatta.
The 27-year-old's future had been uncertain since it was made clear he wouldn't be offered a new contract at the Raiders next season.
Robinson has scored 47 tries in his 96 first-grade games, making his debut with the Brisbane Broncos in 2009 before spending the past five seasons with the Raiders.
He has played 83 games with the Raiders and had his greatest impact when he was moved to fullback in 2013 as a replacement for Josh Dugan.
Robinson only started one game at fullback for the Raiders last season as Anthony Milford took over the No 1 jersey.
With Milford moving to the Brisbane Broncos, Jack Wighton and Jordan Rapana are the leading candidates for the fullback position next season after both looked impressive this year.
The Raiders also have depth on the wing, with Melbourne Storm recruit Sisa Waqa, Edrick Lee and Jeremy Hawkins in the mix.
