Canberra Raiders lock Shaun Fensom's representative exile is over, the hard-working forward called into the NSW Country team as 18th man as back up for a long list of injuries.

In a move which will appease Raiders fans, Fensom will join the Country squad's camp in Dubbo on Tuesday night.

The two-time Mal Meninga Medal winner has been on the outer with representative selectors despite his outstanding performances for the Raiders.

He replaces Tyson Frizell, who was ruled out with an ankle injury.

Fensom is the latest addition after Josh Dugan and Trent Merrin were ruled out with injuries.

David Mead and Knights prop Robbie Rochow have also joined the squad.

Fensom joins Raiders teammates Josh McCrone, Jack Wighton and Paul Vaughan in the Country squad.
