THE Canberra Raiders will test themselves against the NRL's best in the pre-season, announcing they will play both 2012 grand finalists in February.
NRL premiers the Melbourne Storm will warm-up for the World Club Challenge by playing the Raiders on February 8, most likely to be staged in Geelong.
The Raiders will then wrap up their pre-season campaign against the Bulldogs in Goulburn on February 23.
In between, the Raiders will take on a combination of three NSW Cup teams in three 30-minute periods on February 16, in western Sydney.
Meanwhile, Australian prop David Shillington is emerging as the Raiders' selection in the NRL All Stars team despite Josh Dugan being the club's leading vote-getter.
Dugan is 13th overall in the first stage of public voting, but is behind fellow fullbacks Jarryd Hayne (first), Brett Morris (third) and Billy Slater (fifth).
Shillington is 17th overall and the leading contender to retain his place for the annual match at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on February 9 against the Indigenous All Stars. Stage one of voting closes on November 26.
