The Raiders will reunite with one of their former assistant coaches, Mick Crawley appointed to work with head coach Ricky Stuart from next season.
Crawley, in charge of competition-leaders Newcastle in the National Under 20s, will replace Raiders assistant Matt Parish, who has already quit the club in his first season in Canberra to return to Sydney for family reasons.
The Raiders have gone through a plethora of assistant coaches in recent seasons, sacking Andrew Dunemann, Justin Morgan and Quentin Pongia.
Assistant coach Andrew McFadden also quit the club, but has since kicked on to land a three-year deal as head coach of the New Zealand Warriors, who smashed the Raiders 54-18 at Canberra Stadium on Sunday.
Crawley and was an assistant coach at the Raiders in 2007-08 under then-coach Neil Henry and has signed a two-year deal with Canberra.
Having worked with Wayne Bennett at the Knights and previously with Henry at the North Queensland Cowboys (2009-2011), Crawley said he was looking forward to reuniting with the Raiders and working with Stuart.
“Ricky’s a great coach and I’m excited about the future of the Raiders over the next few years,” Crawley said in a statement released by the club.
“I’ve been involved with the club before as an assistant and I know the proud history they have and I believe there is a bright future with the talent in the squad and the fantastic set-up and coaching staff they have in place."
