Warriors 16, Raiders 36
Easy win for Canberra and they keep their season alive - huge fortnight coming up for the Green Machine as they will play the two teams directly above them on the ladder in the Panthers and Dragons.
36-16 after the kick, and that should be the last play of note.
Papalii gets a consolation!
Good offload from RTS before Kata makes a break and then gets the ball away - they spread right before a ball back on the inside gives Isaiah Papalii his first try in the NRL.
Rapana nearly adds another as he runs onto a kick and tries to ground it before going over the sideline - it's sent up as No Try and they've stuck with the ruling...it was very close though.
Croker converts and it's 36-10.Back to top
Cotric has a double!
After a dropped ball, Canberra have a scrum about 25m out and straight from the scrum he goes across the line and beats Hoffman with ease before sprinting away to score.
Canberra turn the ball over now and it's a scrum near halfway for the home side.
Croker slots it from the sideline and it's 30-10!
Rapana dives over!
Lovely cut-out from Austin right onto the chest of his winger, and he acrobatically dives over to seal the game!Back to top
Croker remains perfect and it's 24-10.
Leilua crashes over!
The Warriors were dominant for 15 minutes but only had the one try to show for it, and now they've immediately given it back. Simple stuff to the right and he brushes off the attempted tackle from Maumalo with ease.
Maumalo puts it down! Now Canberra are on the charge.
The kick is wide so it stays at 18-10.
Finally, they score through RTS!
After all the pressure the points finally come via a long distance set. Some decent runs from the forwards before they spread it wide to the left and the skipper slices right through the defensive line and plants it down, cutting the margin to eight with a kick to come.Back to top
And now there's another break from the Warriors, with Lino going through this time, but again the next play sees them die with the ball on the last tackle.
The pressure comes to nothing as a massive bomb from Lino is well taken by Cotric.
Picking up where they left off at this end, Lino forces ANOTHER dropout.
Nearly another dropout but instead Croker beats a tackle and goes 30 metres before finding Austin in support! It looks promising but two plays later, it's knocked on deep in the Warriors' half by Rapana.Back to top
