FULLTIME: WARRIORS 16 BULLDOGS 24 in Wellington
That was the Bulldogs of old. A great comeback from the Bulldogs. You can't help but feel for the Warriors who showed some real fight tonight. They came up against a dogged Bulldogs side that was back at full strength for the first time this season. Big efforts from James Graham, Trent Hodkinson and Frank Pritchard for the visitors while Glen Fisiiahi and Ben Henry were strong despite losing for the Warriors.

Fox Sports spoke to Bulldogs captain Micahel Ennis after the game.
"We asked to boys to dig deep and asked the boys showed some will and fight ... It's a tough road trip to come over here and win."

77th min: TRY Bulldogs. Josh Reynolds picks up a lose ball from Feleti Mateo before streaking to the line to all but end the match. Glen Fisiiahi couldn't make up enough ground on the playmaker.
Trent Hodkison converts for the third time from the sideline. He's been masterful with the boot.
    Warriors 16 Bulldogs 24

75th min: Try Bulldogs: Ben Barba scores a controversial try with hints of interference. The crowd don't like it but the Warriors defender appeared to slip rather have contact made with him by the runner. THe Bulldogs have tohe chance to take the lead with five minutes to go.
Trent Hodkinson converts from the sideline for the second time tonight with a beautiful kick.
    Warriors 16 Bulldogs 18

73rd min: With one of the best falcon's in history, Michael Ennis took a bomb on his head while issuing out a hit to Fisiiahi. Surely that has to be the best falcon in history.

70th min: Thrilling match in the balance here. Bulldogs have the edge in attack at the moment but the Warriros defence, led by the youngster Glen Fisiiahi has held the last couple of sets. The next ten minutes will be a real test of the Warriros.

66th min: Glen Fisiiahi takes another bomb before restarting by attacking the huge Bulldogs pack. He's not aftaid of anything the Flying Fish.

65nd min: Great defence Warriors. Ben Henry and Simon Mannering thwart a Bulldogs move out wide. Huge crowd here at the Cake Tin in Wellington - 30,112.
    Warriors 16 Bulldogs 12

59th min: Finally the Warriors have settled. The next try will be telling as Bill Tupou controls a 40m kick with his foot with plenty of finesse.

Telling hand: Thomas Leuluai scores for the Warriors earlier in the match.

No doubt the Bulldogs' apetite is back in the second half.

Penalty relieves pressure for the Warriors. Bulldogs players caught offside.

Surely it won't be long before the Bulldogs take the lead. They are a different side in this second half. Or should I say the Warriors are a different side, they haven't seen the ball.

49th min: Beautiful atypical try from the Bulldogs. Sam Perrett crosses the line on the end of a fluent passing move from the Bulldogs. Big men hitting up the centre before spreading the ball wide through hands to the winger in a move that included three cut out passes. James Graham is getting involved in this one. Haven't they missed him.
Trent Hodkinson converts from the sideline. great kick!
    Warriors 16 Bulldogs 12.

48th min: Bulldogs captain Michael Ennis cleaned up Thomas Leuluai in a hit that shook the stadium.

47th min: I can't believe my eyes - did Ben Barba just kick for Frank Pritchard. The big man stretched his legs to get there. Was that straight out of Des Hasler's playbook? I'm sure the Warriors defence didn't foresee for that one.
    Warriors 16 Bulldogs 6

43rd min: Hit the crossbar. Trent Hodkinson's cross field kick hit's the crossbar before Glen Fisiiahi cleans up for the Warriors.

Second half underway here in Wellington.

    Halftime: Bulldogs 16 Warriors 6

Wow - what a half. End to end stuff at Westpac Stadium. THe Warrios ruled the first 25 minutes before the Bulldogs started to work their way back into the game. Three tries to one in this one. The young Glen Fisiiahi has been outstanding for the Warriors as has Manu Vatuvei. The Warriors quick passes have been telling. Frank Pritchard the pick for the Bulldogs with his offloads. He's made some telling offloads however he has made a couple of errors.

36th min: Try to the Bulldogs who have finally woken up in this contest. Big Frank Pritchard provided a beautiful one-handed offload to captain Michael Ennis who just had to fall over the line.
    Trent Hodkinson converts.
    Warriors 16 Bulldogs 6

I'd hate to be in the Bulldogs change room at halftime. The Bulldogs have been out-enthused, out-played and out-muscled so far in this one. Des Hasler will go berserk!

29th min: TRY FISIIAHI and the Warriors. A great ball over the top of two defenders by Vatuvei ran onto well by Fisiiahi whose angled run evaded the Bulldogs defence. It's a try fest in Wellington. Fisiiahi's been in everything tonight. Can he keep it up for 80 minutes?
Shaun Johnson converts - Warriors 16 Warriors 0.

28th min: THe Bulldogs are knocking but Fisiiahi is answering everything thrown at him. THe fullback slid in to collect a grubber with great poise. He's on fire.

25th min: Held up! Josh Morris held up in goal after a great darting run. The centre drove over the line to no avail. Strong Warriors defence.

23rd minute: Bulldogs fullback Ben Barba stopped on a dime after collecting colecting a ball in his in-goal before stepping past Vatuvei in pursuit and managing to get a ball away to escape trouble. Great footwork last year's Dally M winner.

23rd min: Great Warriors defence puts the Bulldogs' Josh Morris into touch. The slippery surface aiding the home side.

20th min: Bomb from the Bulldogs aimed to test the young Glen Fisiiahi who passed with distinction. Thing of beauty as he took the mark with aplomb. He's a talented footballer who has handled the pressure well so far.

17th min: Strong try to Thomas Leuluai on the back of a huge offload from Russell Packer, the forward displaying great dexterity and strength to free his hands and offload to Leuluai. THe Warriors are up for this one.
    Conversion successful.
    Warriors 10 Bulldogs 0

Telling hand: Thomas Leuluai scores for the Warriors earlier in the match.

15th min: Frank Pritchard takes Shaun Johnson high, unintentional though - just the three metres height difference between the two players.

15th min: Beautiful Shaun Johnson no-look kick batted dead by the Bulldogs. That'll be a line drop-out. The pressure is building in this one.

    Warriors 4 Bulldogs 0

There are some fierce tackles in this one as both forward packs look to assert their dominance. The Warriors unlucky not to score as they are held up on the line after another Fisiiahi offload.

10 min: Josh Reynolds kicks on the first 10m out from the Warriors line. He came up trumphs as the kick was played at by the Warriors. Slice of luck for the Bulldogs who are looking keen to respond the the Warriors try.

4th minute: TRY Manu Vatuvei. The BEAST marks his re-signing with the Warriors with a try. Just an important as Vatuvei's support was Glen Fisiiahi's attacking anticipation. The young fullback, ran onto a deflected Will Tupou grubber to gather before offolading to Vatuvei. Warriors again socre first in the match.
    Conversion unsuccessful.

Knock-on Frank Pritchard just as the Bulldogs looked dangerous spreading the ball wide. Advantage Warriors.

And we're off here in Wellington with the Warriors lining up in the traditional Wellington colours of yellow and black. The colours suit Glen Fisiahi who no doubt will be targeted by the Bulldogs in this one.

Welcome to what should be a brutal match beween the Warriors and the Bulldogs at Westpac Stadium, Wellington.

Will the Warriors be able to consolidate last week's thrilling golden-point victory over the Titans or will the Bulldogs be able to record their third straight win with a team that is arguable at full strength?

Westpac Stadium, Wellington, Saturday 5.30pm (AEST)
    Last meeting:
Round 3 2012 - Bulldogs 32 bt Warriors 18 at Mt Smart Stadium
    Head-to-head: Warriors 12 Bulldogs 15 drawn 2
    Referees: Adam Devcich, Chris James
    TV: FoxSports 1 (live)
    TAB Sportsbet:
    Warriors $2.60 Bulldogs $1.52
    FootyTab: Warriors +4.5

Phil Mitchell writes: The band is finally back together, and didn’t they put on a great show at ANZ Stadium last Friday night. With props James Graham and Sam Kasiano lining up for the first time since last year’s grand final, Canterbury produced their best performance of the season to whip Wests Tigers 40-4. The win gave the Bulldogs their first successive victories of the season and put them within sight of the top eight.

The Warriors dragged themselves off the bottom of the table, on points differential, after holding off the Titans 25-24 last Sunday. But they will have to pick up their game markedly on Saturday after almost blowing a late lead for the fourth match in a row. The loss of fullback Kevin Locke to injury won’t help their cause.

    Phil's tip: Bulldogs by 8

AAP writes: Canterbury have slowly started to rediscover their mojo and were ruthless in their dissection of an under-manned Wests Tigers side last week. The return of James Graham and Sam Kasiano was a huge factor in the 40-4 victory, their second successive win.

The Warriors thrill and frustrate in equal measure and have opted to showcase their mercurial ways in Wellington this week. However, their record on home soil outside of Mt Smart Stadium stinks with just three wins from 16 games.

Key: Shaun Johnson is in great form for the Warriors and leads the NRL in 40-20s with four to his name this year. His side will need him at his best again in the Kiwi capital.

WARRIORS: Glen Fisiiahi, Bill Tupou, Ben Henry, Konrad Hurrell, Manu Vatuvei, Thomas Leuluai, Shaun Johnson, Sam Rapira, Nathan Friend, Russell Packer, Feleti Mateo, Simon Mannering (capt), Todd Lowrie. Interchange: Ben Matulino, Jacob Lillyman, Elijah Taylor, Pita Godinet, Carlos Tuimavave (one to be omitted).

BULLDOGS: Ben Barba, Mitch Brown, Josh Morris, Tim Lafai, Sam Perrett, Josh Reynolds, Trent Hodkinson, Aiden Tolman, Michael Ennis (capt), Sam Kasiano, Tony Williams, Frank Pritchard, Greg Eastwood. Interchange: Dene Halatau, Josh Jackson, James Graham, Dale Finucane, Martin Taupau (one to be omitted).
