Manly are a great side. They rarely beat themselves by playing poorly and their big names really stood up in the second half when the game was in the balance.
Brett Stewart was outstanding after a few fumbles in the first half, and he's collected the TV man of the match award.
That's all from here. Catch you next time.
What a performance from Brett Stewart tonight. Such a class player, but gee this Manly team continue to produce week in week out.— Steve Turner (@SteveTurner84) June 27, 2014
Manly will stay on top of the table after that win and the Roosters will stay in fifth because the Sharks have caused a massive upset in Brisbane, coming from 22-0 down to beat the Broncos.
That's full-time and Manly have got home 24-16.
You'd have to say the Roosters were the better team for a fair portion of that game and couldn't get over the line.
78th min: And then Manly do score, through Hiku, after kick hands from Stewart and Lyon. And again it's Aubusson who has to make the decision in defence and again it's not a great one. He's on a hiding to nothing against a great Manly right-hand attack. Lyon converts and they'll get home.

Stewart hammers Minichiello in goal after a grubber kick and forces a restart.
And Matt Ballin nearly scores from the short line dropout.
6 mins to go and it's Manly by 2.
Who will stand up and grab a win for their team.
Cracking game - as you'd expect.
67th min: Try Roosters and we're in for a great finish. Frank-Paul Nuuausala storms right through the middle of the Manly defence after a kick play-the-ball from SBW and Mitch Pearce backs up to score wide out. Maloney misses a pretty ease conversion to leave Manly in front.
Manly 18 Roosters 16
Back to Brooky: Matai makes a long break, but again it comes to nothing as Manly drop the ball. This game is really breaking open, and the players are sucking in the big ones.
Manly on the atttack.
Manly 18 Roosters 12
A quick news flash from Brisbane: the Sharks have actually scored a point! I kid you not, they've scored a try. Actually they've scored again. Make that 2 tries. The drought is well and truly broken.
Great break from Roger Tuivasa-Sheck after brilliant work at the back from Anthony Minichiello - the old to the new. But the Roosters put the ball down and it comes to nothing.
53rd min: And Stewart is the beneficiary. He storms on to a ball from Kieran Foran to score beside the posts. It's a set-play from manly - and it was a goodun. Lyon converts.

As the penalties dry up, the Roosters are getting on top.
But the much-maligned Mitch Pearce kicks out on the full and Manly go back on the attack.
Great take from Lyon from a dangerous Roosters bomb. Skipper leading the way for Manly.
James Hasson is very unlikely to be back tonight for the Sea Eagles. Unlucky break for the youngster.
No score in the second half.
Why does anyone fret about the Roosters' penalty count? They conceded more than any team last year and still won the comp.#NRL— DebbieSpillane (@DebSpillane) June 27, 2014
