Why not force a player who injures another player with a cheap shot to be replaced and prevent them from re-entering the field until the injured player returns (if they return)? Seems fair and doesn't make it 13 v 12.
Here we go again another Friday night where my team the Broncos are forced to play simply to pick up the slack from some other non performing teams. If only these other teams could attract the same following on and off the field and we out of town Bronco supporters could go to a Sunday game.
Maybe you could go and watch teams you don't support play? You know, to support the game you seem to think would survive with the almighty broncos playing against themselves every week
Manly settle the score? We won the premiership. How is winning a regular season game settling the score. We are the champions. We win the games that matter the most.I would caution Manly not to take the same path as Souths who gloated about beating us, then lost the next 2. Pull your heads in.
You may well be the premiers ,not champions, but that means diddly sqat this year. You don't get points for winning last year
Nathan - have a long hard look at yourself mate. The roosters were lucky to have won the grand final last year and their record in recent years is well short of Manly's. Maybe you should caution yourself before speaking? Nothing is more embarrassing than being smug and wrong
Hate Manly but finally, a common sense penalty for a shepperd. Ran behind the man before passing, way too close to the defensive line. Good Call.
Here we go again. another fri night another fri watching the drongoes. I barrack for which ever team is playing the drongoes so I have a different team to support every fri night. Spoils the footy by the way. Go the dragons
Channel 9 not showing any rugby league in Melbourne tonight.....ridiculous!
Manly fans are stuck either in peak hour traffic in the Eastern Distributor tunnel or Spit Bridge if you are wondering. Still have more there than the Roosters though.
You've got to be kidding mate. There were 14,000 Roosters fans and about 900 Manly fans.
