The Canberra Raiders are languishing near the bottom of the NRL ladder, but it hasn’t hurt their appeal with female fans.

Following a national poll of more than 3000 married women across Australia, asking which NRL player they’d like to have a fantasy extra-marital affair with, the Raiders have ranked third.

The Raiders (11.2 per cent) finished behind only Bondi glamour-club the Sydney Roosters (17.3 per cent) and North Queensland Cowboys (12.3 per cent).

It’s the kind of statistic that might make Canberra’s WAGs more concerned than Raiders coach David Furner.

The poll was conducted by infidelity website which asked its swinging web surfers which three NRL players they’d most like to have a steamy extra-marital affair with.

David ‘The Wolfman’ Williams took top position on the individual score, ahead of Penrith winger Sandor Earl and Roosters fullback Anthony Minichiello.
