Test centurion Moore also said he will consider his future in the coming months as he weighs up whether to sign a new deal with the ACT Brumbies and Wallabies or move his career abroad.

Reports emerged on Tuesday that French clubs were lining up to offer star flanker Pocock a deal and poach him from the Wallabies and Brumbies.

This follows speculation that Wallabies coach Michael Cheika is being courted by England as its new mentor following their World Cup debacle.

Pocock's manager, Brian Levine, confirmed clubs were starting to throw offers at the openside flanker following his outstanding World Cup performances.

Moore was not surprised.

"Every club in the world would be keen to have a player like [Pocock] on their books. I know the Brumbies will do everything to keep him and so will Australian rugby," Moore said at an AIS leadership and culture function.

"He's a very important player and he's certainly a very valuable member of both teams. There's going to be a hell of a lot of speculation – that's normal. You'd be surprised if there wasn't.

"I think it's important for Australian rugby to keep quality people in the organisation."

There were reports Bordeaux were prepared to offer Pocock more than $450,000 per season, with Racing 92 and Toulouse also keen to strike.

Pocock's breakdown prowess would command far more than the proposed $450,000 and the Brumbies and Wallabies won't let Pocock go without a fight.

The 27-year-old still has one year remaining on his current deal after signing an extension before the World Cup.

"There are a number of offers that have landed. None are being considered at this stage," Levine said.

"David will be taking a break for four weeks, getting over the niggles he picked up during the World Cup.

"He is firmly committed to the 2016 season with the Brumbies and the ARU."

If Pocock was lured by overseas clubs, he could fall into the ARU's new eligibility rules, which Pocock has backed, that allow players to sign contracts abroad without losing their ability to represent the Wallabies.

Several Wallabies have left Australian rugby after the World Cup, with Adam Ashley-Cooper and Sekope Kepu joining Bordeaux, Will Genia going to Stade Francais and Quade Cooper signing with Toulon.

Moore is also off contract at the end of the season after leading Australia's World Cup campaign.

"I haven't thought too much about it ... now that the World Cup is over you look at that stuff. I'll have a think about it, I'm someone who doesn't like those [contract negotiations] to drag out," Moore said.

"I'll probably address that in the next few months. When I re-signed [last year], the Brumbies and Wallabies put a lot of faith in me when I was injured and that means a lot to me.

"You look at all the different situations, I'll talk to my family. I enjoyed my rugby this year as much as I ever have."

Cheika named Moore as the leader of a new Wallabies era and they combined as a strong duo as Australia fell narrowly short of lifting the World Cup.

Moore said the Wallabies must capitalise on the growth made at the World Cup.

"The biggest thing I learnt was that if you do the right thing you can turn it around very quickly," Moore said.

"Cheik took the team at a time when we were in a bit of turmoil and he put the right things in place. There's a fair bit of growth still in the team and that's exciting."
