Full-time: That's all from AAMI Park. Thanks for joining us for our live blog. That was a pretty uninspiring game from both sides but the Brumbies did enough to collect four competition points and stay on top of the Australian conference. Brumbies 27 - Rebels 19.
77th min: The Brumbies have put the ball out on the full twice in a row here. The Rebels will have another lineout on the 22.
73rd min: Holmes gives the Brumbies a bit of breathing space with a penalty. Brumbies 27 - Rebels 19.
69th min: Scrappy stuff from both sides here. Whoever plays smart rugby will win this.
62nd min: Hilgendorf is in Disneyland here after a nasty head clash with Holmes. But it looks like he's going to battle on.
55th min: TRY! What a hit back! The Brumbies completely muff the kick-off, Gareth Delve picks up the loose ball and hands it off for Cooper Vuna to score in the left corner. Huxley converts beautifully from the touchline. Brumbies 24 - Rebels 19.
53rd min: TRY! Robbie Coleman makes a wealth of possession count for the Brumbies, showing good pace to scorch over in the left corner. It will be interesting to see if Jake White's men try and push on to go for the bonus point now. Holmes converts and it's Brumbies 24 - Rebels 12.
44th min: Brumbies penalty. Holmes converts. Brumbies 17 - Rebels 12.
Second half: We're under way again at AAMI.
Half-time: The Rebels peppered the Brumbies' line but the men from the ACT were able to pull off a number of big tackles before eventually conceding a penalty. Huxley converts and at half-time it's Brumbies 14 - Rebels 12.
38th min: It looks like James Hilgendorf has been held up here after a quick midfield break. The Brumbies scrambled well to get back and prevent that one. NO TRY!
38th min: Hold the phone! We're going to the TMO for a possible Rebels try.
35th min: The Brumbies are penalised for a scrum infringement close to halfway. Huxley puts the long-range effort over and the Rebels are back in it. Brumbies 14 - Rebels 9. Rebels fans go wild. They love it when sportsmen kick goals down that way.
30th min: Michael Hooper has been penalised again and the Rebels put another penalty goal over through Huxley. Brumbies 14 - Rebels 6.
27th min: TRY! The Brumbies finally make their numerical advantage count with centre Andrew Smith crossing out wide. Holmes hooks the conversion and it comes back off the left upright. Brumbies 14 - Rebels 3.
24th min: And the ref's finally had enough. Jono Owen, who left the Brumbies to join the Rebels a few weeks ago, has been yellow-carded for repeat infringements.
23rd min: Yes! Another penalty to the Brumbies for not rolling away. What the? They've kicked for touch and not for goal! Unbelievable!
18th min: And the Rebels get a penalty from a Michael Hooper infringement. It's just exhilarating stuff here. It's why we all love Super Rugby, for the penalty shootouts. Julian Huxley converts from close range. Brumbies 9 - Rebels 3.
13th min: And the Brumbies have another penalty right in front from 25m out with the Rebels not rolling away from the ruck. Zack Holmes lines this one up and drills it. Brumbies 9 - Rebels 0.
10th min: The Rebels have had all the ball for the last five minutes but a couple of knock-ons have thwarted their momentum.
5th min: The Brumbies work the ball forward after getting a short-arm penalty from the scrum at halfway. Mogg lines up another penalty attempt from 40m right in front ... and nails it again. Brumbies 6 - Rebels 0.
3rd min: Not a good start by the Rebels, who put the kick-off into touch on the full.
1st min: The Brumbies receive the first penalty and Jesse Mogg will try and slot it over from halfway. Is it just me, or are the two teams hard to tell apart, even though the Brumbies are wearing their mainly white strip? And Mogg nails it. Brumbies 3 - Rebels 0.
Kick-off: We're under way in Melbourne!
Preamble: The Rebels found a way to win last week, but the Brumbies failed to secure their position as the Australian conference's No.1 team. Tonight, a win will go a long way to sending the Brumbies into the finals for the first time in seven years. A win to the Rebels, however, opens things right up.
