The margin of victory was only one point but the All Blacks were so dominant in that second-half it felt like the margin between the two teams was greater.
England dominated the first 30 minutes, the All Blacks worked towards parity in the back end of their first half and then blew England away early in the second stanza.
England can probably count themselves unlucky with Owen Farrell's yellow card but New Zealand's outside men made breaks at will.
I wonder whether England will move Tuilagi back to 13 for the third Test. He was their most damaging ball runner in Auckland last week, they need to get the ball in his hands more often.
For New Zealand, Ben Smith, Conrad Smith, Ma'a Nonu and Brodie Retallick were the standouts while I though Owen Farrell and Geoff Parling were good for the visitors.
I need to take a break before the Wallabies kick off in about 30 mins.
England had been fumbling around and then Manu Tuliagi unloads an SBW-like flick pass out the back and Mike Brown surges on to it before releasing Ashton who scored under the posts. The conversion is kicked and England fall one point short. FULL TIME: NZ 28 ENG 27.
81st min: GREAT TRY by England.
80th min: England get another penalty. Jaco Peyper says there is time for the lineout. There is no time victory for England though.

78th min: Apparently they can. They get the scrum penalty. Can they score twice in two minutes?
76th min: Richie McCaw held up! England surely cannot absorb any more pressure.
75th min: Is there a better running five-eighth in world rugby than Beauden Barrett? He scoots down the left flank and he brings the All Blacks within five metres of the tryline. England throw in.
Jaco Peyper asked whether there is a reason why he should not award the try. The TMO says there is no reason. Peyper asks are you sure and the TMO says it was Brown's hand between the ground and the ball. It doesn't mean he grounded it though. Conversion kicked. NZ 28 ENG 20
The question is did Cory Jane hold the ball up over the line as Mike Brown dived over?Back to top
72nd min: Possible try England.
71st min: Billy Vunipola is on for England. I don't remember him being this big a unit.
68th min: The penalties are flowing England's way now and they have the ball 10 metres out but a knock-on kills off any hope a comeback.
It was the old firm: Conrad Smith and Ma'a Nonu. Smith ran the perfect line to make the bust from a Barrett pass, he fired a bullet pass to Nonu, who stepped inside one defender and sprinted for the line. Barrett boots it from the sideline. NZ 28 ENG 13.Back to top
63rd min: TRY! Nonu.
59th min: Kiwi commentators adamant that's a harsh yellow card and they have a point. Where could Farrell roll away to with Kaino on top of him? Barrett kicks the penalty. NZ 21 ENG 13.
58th min: The All Blacks are again pressing England's line and they have the penalty advantage and will soon a have a numerical advantage with Owen Farrell sent to the bin.
54th min: It hits the post and England do very well to clear the ball from their tryline.
54th min: The unrelenting pressure on England is taking its toll and they give away the penalty. Barrett will attempt to make the lead eight points.Back to top
