Greg Growden writes: Look out- the Highlanders players and management have vowed they're off the booze for the next month. Sounds great. But a few days in Bloemfontein could change that. There's nothing else to do there but get on the drink.

AAP writes: The Highlanders are sitting pretty with six wins from eight games, but the players aren't popping the champagne corks just yet. In fact, no alcohol will be flowing among the players, who have agreed to go on a one-month alcohol ban in a bid to boost their chances of making the finals for the first time since 2003. The Highlanders sit second in the Kiwi conference but face a tricky test against the free-running Cheetahs, who posted wins in two of their past three games before last week's bye. The home side also have radar-boot Johan Goosen back at No.10.

CHEETAHS: Hennie Daniller, Cameron Jacobs, Robert Ebersohn, Andries Strauss, Willie le Roux, Johan Goosen, Tewis de Bruyn, Philip van der Walt, Justin Downey, Heinrich Brussow, Izak van der Westhuizen, Andries Ferreira, WP Nel, Adriaan Strauss (c), Coenie Oosthuizen. Reserves: Hercu Liebenberg, Trevor Nyakane, George Earle, Ashley Johnson, Piet van Zyl, Sias Ebersohn, Philip Snyman.

HIGHLANDERS: TBA
