It's the match that pits 10 international stars against brickies and plumbers, but ACT Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham has warned his team to brace for a ''torrid hit-out'' against the ACT XV on Saturday.

The Brumbies will unleash a full-strength line-up boasting 10 Wallabies in the Super Rugby grand finalists' last pre-season trial at Viking Park. It means the likes of Wallabies captain Ben Mowen, David Pocock, Stephen Moore and Ben Alexander will take on the best of Canberra's part-time club players.
''Our guys better prepare for a physical and torrid affair, we're going to trial some things and get some match fitness,'' Larkham said. ''Canberra has a proud history of producing good rugby teams and this ACT XV would win a Sydney championship.
''These guys are the pick of the competition.''
Wallabies Joseph Tomane, Scott Fardy, Scott Sio, Nic White, Matt Toomua and Jesse Mogg will join the others in ''blowing out some cobwebs''.
They'll play against club rugby hopefuls who have a chance to impress Brumbies coaches and press their claims for a Super Rugby contract.
The match will also be the Brumbies' last official trial before they begin their Super Rugby season against the Queensland Reds on February 22.
Japanese recruit Haru Tatekawa will start at inside-centre in the trial, giving the Brumbies 11 Test players in their starting XV.
Scrumhalf White is bursting with excitement as he begins his bid to earn more Wallabies caps.
The energetic No.9 forced his way into Australia's starting line-up last year, but spent most of the Wallabies tour of Europe on the bench.
''A lot of the Wallabies guys played in the spring tour and Rugby Championship, but a lot of it for me was being the back-up behind Will [Genia],'' White said.
''It's been a long time since I played a full game … I'm eager just to get into it. I was worried I wasn't going to have enough time to ready myself for round one.
''I panicked myself a bit because such a short pre-season was unknown. But I'm ready to go outside my comfort zone to see if all the pre-season work has paid off.''
White's battle with Genia for the Wallabies' No.9 jersey will heat up when the pair go head to head in the opening round of the Super Rugby season.
The 23-year-old is regarded as one of the best tactical kickers in the game because his booming boot is capable of gaining valuable field position.
''I want to improve my running lines and have been working on my running game a lot more … Everyone tinkers with their game to get a leg up on the other blokes,'' White said. ''You can try it at training, but nothing is as good as a game.
''I'm a smaller bloke, it takes a while to train your body to put your head where it doesn't want to be.''
