WELLINGTON: Injuries to key players have forced Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder to rejig his team ahead of Saturday's Super Rugby match against the Hurricanes in Christchurch.
All Blacks captain Richie McCaw moves to No.8, with Kieran Read still sidelined after being concussed in the second Test 19-16 win over Ireland.
Matt Todd will start on the flank for McCaw.
Israel Dagg will also sit out the game after injuring his ankle in the third Test 60-0 thumping of Ireland.
Dan Carter's hamstring problem, which ruled him out of the third Test, means he will be in the stands, with Tom Taylor taking over the No.10 jersey and Tyler Bleyendaal providing cover from the bench.
With Tom Marshall also injured, Sean Maitland starts at fullback.
Patrick Osborne may get his first run for the Crusaders if he comes off the bench as cover for the backs.
Blackadder's squad has been boosted by the return of Ben and Owen Franks, Luke Romano, Sam Whitelock and Zac Guildford from All Blacks duty.
Crusaders: Sean Maitland, Adam Whitelock, Robbie Fruean, Ryan Crotty, Zac Guildford, Tom Taylor, Andy Ellis, Richie McCaw (captain), Matt Todd, George Whitelock, Sam Whitelock, Luke Romano, Ben Franks, Corey Flynn, Wyatt Crockett. Reserves: Quentin MacDonald, Owen Franks, Tom Donnelly/Ross Kennedy, Luke Whitelock, Willi Heinz, Tyler Bleyendaal, Patrick Osborne.
