Change is well and truly under way at the Waratahs, with head coach Michael Cheika acting fast to announce the departure of coaching co-ordinator Greg Mumm.
Mumm joined the Tahs less than a year ago after being hired by former head coach Michael Foley.
Foley and Mumm worked together coaching Fiji before last year's Rugby World Cup.
The brother of veteran Waratahs lock Dean Mumm, who departed for English side Exeter at the end of the current season, had already left Moore Park on annual leave and would not return, the franchise said.
''Taking us forward will require changes,'' Cheika said.
''Many of the team have had to deal with a level of uncertainty already … I would also like to thank Greg for his input.''
