FLORENCE: The Wallabies plans to disrupt Italy at the set piece have taken a blow with the withdrawal of hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau.
Polota-Nau was named on the bench against Italy, after starting against France and England, but was forced to withdraw after failing to recover from "soreness" from the Test at Twickenham a week ago, a Wallabies spokesman said.
Starting hooker Stephen Moore will be helped from the bench by Reds hooker James Hanson, who has not been named in the match 23 so far this tour.
Hanson made his debut during the final Bledisloe match in Brisbane last month.
Meanwhile an appeal against lock forward Rob Simmons's eight-week suspension will be heard in Bristol on Tuesday.
Simmons was suspended for a lifting tackle on French forward Yannick Nyanga in Paris two weeks ago.
The Wallabies fly back the United Kingdom on Sunday and travel to Cardiff for the final Test of the tour.
Simmons and his representatives will drive to the hearing in front of a three-person panel, the spokesman said.
