It's the elephant in the room Wests have been trying to sidestep around.

Last year's 44-18 mauling at the hands of the Tuggeranong Vikings will be used as motivation by the underdogs in today's grand final rematch at Viking Park.
Wests can clearly claim that tag, with bookmakers installing them as $3.70 outsiders to upset the Vikings and inflict just their second loss of the season.
Wests coach Craig Robberds described last year's defeat in the decider as the most comprehensive in ACT club rugby history, but was confident the side had learned lessons from that day.
''We try not to talk about it, it's a pretty embarrassing result,'' Robberds said.
''It's a factor there for sure, it'd be silly if you didn't want to beat the team who beat you the year before.
''It was pretty heartbreaking, we weren't even in the contest.''
Wests have peaked at the right time of the season to qualify for their second straight grand final.
An improved defensive effort has been critical to their success, as has been the inclusion of ACT Brumbies duo Peter Kimlin and Jesse Mogg.
Unlike the majority of Brumbies players who have been allocated to clubs in the local competition for the first time this year, Kimlin and Mogg turned out for Wests before playing Super Rugby.
Kimlin is just one of two survivors from the club's last premiership in 2005, while Mogg's impressive form saw him catch the eye of Brumbies coach Jake White and win a contract in the Brumbies' extended player squad.
He then went on to become a regular in the starting 15 for the Brumbies, and was selected in the first Wallabies squad of the season.
Wests will also have the services of Wallabies star Pat McCabe, who will make a half-an-hour cameo off the bench in his first game back from stress fractures in his leg.
The Vikings have two Brumbies players in their ranks - flyhalf Zack Holmes and prop Scott Sio.
