And while the Tuggeranong Vikings lock's No.1 goal is to earn a deal with the ACT Brumbies, he hopes a good performance will make the Perth-based franchise take notice of his potential.
Murday will play for a South Australian invitational side against a near full-strength Force before the Super Rugby season resumes next weekend.
The 23-year-old started the year training with the Brumbies' full-time squad and played trial matches against the Force and the Reds.
But he is yet to receive an offer to make the transition into the professional ranks next year.
''It's a good opportunity to play against the best players and at Super Rugby level,'' Murday said.
''I've got some confidence after playing against the Force earlier in the year, but they'll be tougher now.''
Murday will miss the Vikings' clash with the Gungahlin Eagles at Nicholls Oval today.
The Vikings are undefeated after nine games this season and sit comfortably at the top of the ladder.
They will also be boosted with the inclusion of Darragh Fanning and Rodney Iona after both played for a developing Melbourne Rebels side against the Super Rugby line-up earlier this week.
Irish winger Fanning scored a try against the Rebels' first XV and hoped to transfer his form into a blistering performance against Gungahlin.
''It was a good experience, a guy like [prop] Rodney Blake was on our team and we were taking on guys like Stirling Mortlock and Julian Huxley,'' Fanning said.
