It was a game played in the most difficult of circumstances, with ACT Meteors coach Andrew Dawson admitting emotions were "pretty raw" in Friday's WT20 match against the South Australia Scorpions.

Less than 24 hours after the shock death of Phillip Hughes, the Meteors and the Scorpions decided to take to the field at Adelaide Oval to pay tribute to the former Australian batsman.
The Meteors never got going in their pursuit of South Australia's total of 5-130, losing wickets at regular intervals to finish all out for 104.
Players from both teams, officials and spectators at the ground had a minute's silence before the start of play and both sides wore black armbands.
Dawson said Cricket ACT supported whatever decision the South Australian Cricket Association made in relation to the game going ahead.
"It was pretty raw, we all felt pretty flat, but it was an absolute tribute to both teams deciding to play in Phillip's honour," Dawson said.
"We were given the option by Cricket Australia [to call the game off] in respect for the players and both sides were given the option if players weren't mentally up to compete and if they wanted space from it.
"I chatted via email with the SACA yesterday and said we completely respect what the Scorpions want to do, and they said they were up for it and they wanted to play as a mark of respect for Phillip.
"I asked the girls and they were the same."
The Meteors are without New Zealand internationals Sara McGlashan (playing commitments in New Zealand) and Nicola Browne (hamstring injury) this weekend.
Captain Kris Britt missed Friday's game, but will fly to Adelaide in time for Saturday's 50-over match.
