Only a handful of tickets are still available for Canberra's clash with the Southern Force at the Lyneham Netball Centre on Saturday night.
The buzz is expected to continue for Sunday's double header with Netball ACT urging fans to get their tickets early to see both Canberra and it's Super Netball affiliate Greater Western Sydney in action.
Canberra co-coach Sharyn Hill says a good start is "absolutely vital" when the Giants host fellow top-four hopeful the Force, and a vocal home crowd will work wonders.
Hill says the the "momentum is building" for the Giants who are riding a five-match winning streak, and they'll need to ride every bit of it with games against the other three top four teams rounding out the season.
"This weekend is a great challenge and opportunity for us," Hill said.
"We're playing another top four team, so we're expecting a really hard, close encounter in both the matches and it'll be a real check of where we're really at.
"We've had some good wins over the last two weeks, but now we're coming into finals it'll be a good check to see where we're going."
Playing to lock in a finals berth is a stark contrast to years gone by for the club's three Canberra players Leigh Kalsbeek, Georgia Clayden and Shannon O'Connor.
Hill says being on the right side of results for a change has been a big boost for the trio, with Kalsbeek and Clayden seasoned campaigners with former ANL cellar dwellers the Canberra Darters.
"Obviously to be part of an outfit that's putting a few wins together back-to-back is really motivating and pleasing for them," Hill said.
"I think they're just learning how to go the full 60 minutes which is something that has been hard to do in the past."
