Having conceded the opening three goals of the game, the Brave reduced the deficit to just one before going down 4-2 at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre on Sunday night.
Goals to Scott Pitt and Tyler Kubara dragged the Brave back into the contest, but the Ice sealed the result with 40 seconds to go when it scored in an empty net.
Brave coach Brad Hunt applauded his team's spirit to get itself back into the game after being in a hole after two periods.
"We fought back and we played a great third period," Hunt said.
"We came close, had a couple of calls on offside that went against us that were pretty close and a bit of bad bounce at the end for them to get the empty net goal.
"We've collected five points last weekend and three this weekend, so eight out of a possible 12 isn't too bad."
The Brave shared the spoils with the Ice in their double-header after claiming the opening game 3-1 on Saturday night.
It was another physical encounter as both teams had players spend plenty of time in the penalty box.
The Brave took outstanding goalkeeper Josh Unice off with a minute to go to put on another attacker, but was unlucky to concede.
The Brave will be aiming to get back in the winner's circle when it hosts the winless Sydney Ice Dogs next Saturday night.
