Canberra Cavalry-Sydney Blue Sox clash washed out

The Canberra Cavalry and Sydney Blue Sox will play an Australian Baseball League double header on Saturday after Thursday night's game at Narrabundah Ballpark was washed out.

The first game will be seven innings, starting at 4pm, with a nine-inning affair to follow from about 7pm.

Canberra trails the Blue Sox 5-3 in the battle for the Hume Highway Cup, which the Cavs have never won.

Both teams are hoping to be part of the ABL play-offs, with the Cavalry sitting second going into the second-last round of the home-and-away season.

Sydney started round 13 one game behind the third-placed Adelaide Bite, who are playing away to the Perth Heat.
