Canberra export Antonio Barbaro has secured a first-team contract in the National Premier League Victoria with the St Albans Saints.
A 2009 and 2010 ACT youth representative, Barbaro was part of the capital territory's schoolboys side in 2013 before earning his senior breakthrough with Canberra FC.
An impressive start to the 2014 campaign saw Barbaro attract the attention of several top clubs in Victoria before eventually joining the Goulburn Valley Suns.
Barbaro, 20, enjoyed two stints at second division clubs the GV Suns and Dandenong Thunder playing as a centre-back, before being picked up by the Saints.
Barbaro can play anywhere across the back four and his versatility will likely be called upon this season by manager Kruni Razov as St Albans return to the top-flight for the first time in six years.
